WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Nanooks rifle team wrapped up the 2025 portion of their schedule with a double dual-match at Army against Army and Navy.
The Nanooks defeated Army 4722-4688 but fell to Navy in the head-to-head, 4729-4722. Alaska had six shooters in the individual top 10, the most out of the three teams.
Lucie Kissenberger led the Nanooks for the second-straight day, firing an aggregate score of 1185-81x today. She placed third in the individual standings.
Marshall Schmidt followed in fourth with an aggregate score of 1184-87x.
Amanda Pettersen and
Teagan Perkowski took sixth and seventh with aggregates of 1177-76x and 1177-69x, respectively.
Tobias Bernhoft-Osa and
Noah Meierotto rounded out the top 10 finishes, placing ninth and 10th with an 1175-76x and 1174-77x.
In smallbore, the Nanooks posted a score of 2336, good for second among the three teams. Navy posted the team high score in smallbore with a 2347 while Army shot a 2334. Individually, the Nanooks placed three in the top 10 in the individual smallbore. Kissenberger posted the team high with a 587-31x, placing third. Schmidt followed in fourth, shooting a 586-36x.
Julianna Hays was the final Nanook in the top 10 in smallbore, firing a 585-38x.
Teagan Perkowski placed 11th with a 582-21x, and
Noah Meierotto followed in 12th with a 581-28x.
Amanda Pettersen shot a 581-25x,
Tobias Bernhoft-Osa posted a 580-27x,
Matthew Stout shot a 578-24x, and
Sadie Palfrey shot a 576-20x to round out the smallbore standings for the 'Nooks.
In air rifle, the Nanooks outshot both teams with a day high score of 2386. Navy followed with a 2382, and Army posted a 2354. Seven of the nine Nanooks to shoot today finished in the top 10 for individual air rifle standings.
Marshall Schmidt led the way as the freshman posted a 598-51x.
Lucie Kissenberger followed in fourth, shooting a 598-50x. The Nanooks then claimed spots six through 11.
Amanda Pettersen took sixth with a score of 596-51x.
Tobias Bernhoft-Osa followed in seventh with a 595-49x, and
Teagan Perkowski took eighth with a 595-48x.
Noah Meierotto and
Sadie Palfrey rounded out the top 10 with a 593-49x and 593-44x, respectively.
Matthew Stout and
Julianna Hays rounded out the Nanooks in the individual air rifle standings. Stout took 11th with a 590-42x performance and Hays posted a 588-40x.
