All students get in FREE to all Nanooks home games with their Polar Express ID card. Go through the ticket office and swipe your card to get in!

Students are encouraged to dress up, participate in themes and competitions to receive special student giveaways and prizes! Follow us @AlaskaNanooks for all upcoming games and theme nights.

HOCKEY STUDENT SECTION AND TRANSPORTATION

Your Nanooks play their home games at the Carlson Center. Students sit for free in the Student Section's 119-121, row D-Glass. Students also get FREE transportation to the Carlson Center.

The Polar Express is a free student shuttle that drops off and picks up one hour before the game and one hour after from UAF's Woods Center and dorms to the Carlson Center. Please show your Polar Express ID to the driver!

NANOOKS POWER PLAY - 4K IN THE CARLSON

On January 17th, bring all your friends and cheer on your Nanooks in the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup. We want to PACK the Carlson with students. 

Wear white to WHITE OUT the Seawolves. your best decorated white-shirt, cheering for the Nanooks for a chance to win an ALASKA AIRLINES ticket. Follow @Alaska Nanooks Hockey for updates.

NANOOKS POWER PLAY - 4K IN THE CARLSON - STUDENT COMPETITION TO WIN AN ALASKA AIRLINES PRIZE!

For UAF Students in Fairbanks, you have a chance to win one round-trip Alaska Airlines Ticket! Enter to win by decorating a white based shirt/sweatshirt in an original design and wearing it to the Nanooks Power Play night on January 17th. Be sure to sit in student sections 119-121! The winner will be announced in the third period!

Guidelines: 

  • Design must be cheering for the Nanooks
  • No inappropriate design or wording
  • Can be painted, screen printed, etc., just has to be an original design
  • Extra points for going all out for whiteout AND incorporating Alaska Airlines logo!


E-CAMPUS, REMOTE STUDENT COMPETITION

For all our E-Campus students who live outside of the Fairbanks area and cannot attend the January 17th game in person, we have a special chance for you to join in on the fun and for one lucky remote student to win the Alaska Airlines MVP Gold Membership!

Guidelines: 

  • Must be a fully remote, non-commuter UAF E-campus student 
  • Design a t-shirt/sweatshirt on a white base, cheering for the Nanooks 
  • No inappropriate design or wording
  • Can be painted, screen printed, etc.
  • Extra points for incorporating the Alaska Airlines logo! 
  • Enter to win via Google Form - SUBMIT FORM
  • The winner will be contacted as well as announced during the game stream on January 17th.


Additionally, if interested, you can mail in your design to be worn by our Nanooks Hockey team, which will be posted to social media. Ship to the following:

COURT SPORTS

Your Nanooks Women's Volleyball team and Men's and Women's Basketball teams play at the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium, right on campus at the UAF Patty Center. Swipe your Polar Express ID at the ticket office for free admission! Students have a dedicated student section in the yellow bleachers behind the home bench. 

PACK THE PATTY

This season, we need you to PACK the Patty for our teams. We have a goal of 1,000, and we want students to make that happen. Dress up in head-to-toe white for a white out for a chance to win special giveaways, including an Alaska Airlines ticket.
