HOW TO GET IN FREE
All students get in FREE to all Nanooks home games at both the UAF Patty Center and Carlson Center! Redeem your free ticket when you log into our ticketing site, vivenu, with your UAFÂ single sign-on.
Students are encouraged to dress up, participate in themes and competitions to receive special student giveaways and prizes! Follow us @AlaskaNanooks on Instagram, Facebook, and X for all upcoming games and theme nights.
HOCKEY STUDENT SECTION
Your Nanooks play their home games at the Carlson Center. Students sit for free in the Student Section's 119-121, row D-Glass.
On Saturday, November 21st, your Alaska Nanooks will be hosting an Alaska Airlines Governor’s Cup poster board competition where the person with the best poster will win a round-trip ticket on Alaska Airlines.
How to enter to win:
- Sit in the student section with a poster board at the WHITE OUT game against UAA on Saturday, November 21st
- Poster is cheering for the Nanooks and makes use of the Alaska Airlines logo
- Posters contain NO inappropriate language or images
All students can have the posters signed or gift them to the Men’s Ice Hockey team during Skate with the Nooks, on the ice, after the game, and get their picture taken.
COURT SPORTS STUDENT SECTION
Your Nanooks Women's Volleyball team and Men's and Women's Basketball teams play at the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium, right on campus at the UAF Patty Center. Students have a dedicated student section in the yellow bleachers behind the home bench.
This season, we need you to PACK the Patty for our rivalry games against UAA. All three games will have chances to win Alaska Airlines tickets. For more details, follow @AlaskaNanooks.
