On Jan. 17, 2026, Hays posted a new career-high smallbore score, posting a 593 at TVSA against Kentucky and Nebraska ... She matched her career-high air rilfe score with a 595 on Jan. 18, 2026 against the same opponents ... Ole Miss

Hays, a native of Maplewood, Minn., comes to Alaska after two standout seasons at Ole Miss. As a freshman, she earned All-GARC Smallbore First Team honors while averaging 583.3 and helping the Rebels to another NCAA Championship appearance. She continued her success as a sophomore, competing in 11 matches and setting career highs of 592 in smallbore, 595 in air rifle, and an 1186 aggregate as Ole Miss reached its fourth straight NCAA Championship. Before her collegiate career, Hays represented the United States at the 2021 ISSF Junior World Championship in Lima, Peru, and was the Minnesota Junior Olympic Champion in both smallbore and air rifle. She also served as a three-year captain for the Minnesota Centershots, helping guide her club team to multiple state titles.
