Last Time Out
The Nanooks are coming off of a 1-1-0 weekend in Tempe, Ariz. where they took second in the 2025 Icebreaker Tournament. Arizona State played host to this year's tournament, and housed all four games in Mullett Arena. On Friday, the Nanooks squared off against No. 8/9 Quinnipiac and pulled off the upset, winning 2-1. They used goals from
Michael Citara and
Alexander Malinowski (GWG) to pick up their first win of the season and advance to the championship against ASU. The No. 15 Sun Devils picked up the championship on their home ice on Saturday, defeating the 'Nooks 5-2. Alaska's goals were scored by
Chase Dafoe (PPG) and Citara, but an ASU hat-trick spoiled the Nanooks run at the title.
