FAIRBANKS - The Nanooks hockey team comes home for the second of two home weekends at the Carlson Center. This weekend they welcome the ASU Sun Devils for the final two matchups of the season.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks are back in the Carlson Center after splitting with the LIU Sharks a week ago. They dropped night one before leaving the weekend with a win. On night one, the Nanooks were shutout 4-0. Night two saw the Nanooks flip the script, winning 4-0 behind a 23-save shutout from Lassi Lehti in his first-career start. Cade Neilson tallied a pair of goals while Chase Dubois and Chase Dafoe tallied the others in the victory.

- The Nanooks are 2-2 in one-goal games this season.

The Nanooks hockey team, the Face-Off Club and all student-athletes around the world want to say thank you to parents who make playing sports a part of our lives. We will be celebrating the Nanooks hockey parents on Friday, Feb. 23 on the ice during the first intermission break. Without the sacrifices of time, countless hours driving from practices to games to tournaments and everything in-between, we would not be playing the sports we love! THANK YOU, PARENTS.

What's to Come
The Nanooks have entered their final six games of the season. Following their home series with Arizona State this weekend, the Nanooks will head to Augustana on March 1-2 for their first-ever road matchup with the Vikings. On March 6-7, the Nanooks return home to face the Stonehill Skyhawks for their regular-season finales. Senior Night will land on Thursday, March 7 with a 7:07 p.m. puck drop.
Meet the Sun Devils
Arizona State comes to Fairbanks for the third-straight season. They are looking for their first win in the 49th State since the 2019-20 season. Down in Tempe earlier this season, the Sun Devils swept Alaska 2-0, 4-2, snapping the Nanooks unbeaten streak of eight games against ASU.
A trio of 30-point scorers lead the Sun Devils into Fairbanks this weekend; Lukas Sillinger leads all with 35 points on seven goals and 28 assists. Following right behind is Tim Lovell who has five goals and 28 assists. The 28 assists leads ASU. Matthew Kopperud is the final 30-point scorer for the Sun Devils with 32 points on a team-high 19 goals and 13 assists. In net, the Sun Devils have a pair of strong bodies. TJ Semptimphelter has seen the most time with 24 games, a 14-5-4 record, .908 save percentage and 2.52 GAA. Gibson Homer has seen good time as of late; in 10 appearances, he's 6-1-2 with a .943 save percentage and 1.62 GAA including two wins over Alaska in Tempe.
PairWise
ASU is currently 20-6-6 and ranked T-No. 18 in the PairWise Rankings. They are tied with Omaha. The Nanooks are currently No. 29 in the PairWise, falling ahead of Merrimack and trailing Vermont at the No. 27 spot.
Seekins Ford Lincoln Raffle Drawing
The Nanooks and Seekins Ford Lincoln of Fairbanks will be drawing the winning tickets for their third-ever raffle drawing. On Saturday, Feb. 24, during the second intermission, they will draw three tickets - the winning ticket will have their choice of $15,000 cash or a new 2024 Ford Bronco Sport 4x4. Second place will receive two roundtrip Alaska Airlines vouchers to wherever Alaska Air flies and third will receive two all-sport season passes for 2024-25. Tickets are $100 each and will stop being sold at the 10-minute mark of the second period on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Gold Rush
Join the Nanooks on Saturday, March 23 for a night of food, drinks, games, prizes and a silent auction. The reverse raffle will begin at 6:45 p.m. and every 25th ticket drawn will get $100. The final five tickets remaining will choose to split or keep drawing for the grand prize of $5,000!
