Jack Rogers Transfers North to Alaska from St. Cloud State

FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks hockey program has announced the addition of transfer forward Jack Rogers. Rogers, a fifth-year, will join the Nanooks after four seasons with the St. Cloud State Huskies (NCHC).

"Jack brings a veteran presence and a strong understanding of what it takes to compete at this level," said head coach Erik Largen. "He is a responsible forward who plays through contact, contributes in difficult areas, and can be trusted in a variety of situations. His experience and maturity will be extremely valuable to our group." Before St. Cloud State, Rogers played one season with the Steinbach Pistons in the MJHL. There, he skated in 54 games and posted 67 points on 30 goals and 37 assists.

2022-23 was his first season with the Huskies in the NCHC and saw him post a career-high in both points and games played. He skated in 34 games for SCSU and posted eight points on three goals and five assists while also winning the NCHC Tournament as the four-seed. In 2023-24, Rogers appeared in 29 games for St. Cloud and posted six points. He scored a career-high four goals and added two assists. The next season, he appeared in just four games, posting one point on an assist, before 17 games in 2025-26 and scoring one goal.

Rogers is a 6-3, 201-pound, right-handed shot and hails from East Northport, New York.
