FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks welcome the Michigan Tech Huskies to the Carlson Center on Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30. This will be the final meeting between the two teams after the Nanooks swept MTU on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks are coming off of their sixth consecutive series-split last weekend against Ferris State. On Nov. 22, Alaska fell behind early, 0-2, before coming back and tying the game at 2-2. Unfortunately for the 'Nooks the Bulldogs snuck the game-winning goal past
Anton Martinsson with only seven minutes remaining in the game.
On night two, the Nanooks grabbed an early lead, eventually winning on night two, 3-1, behind goals from
Max Newton (2) and
Tyler Cline. Newton also added an assist on Cline's goal, giving him three points on the night.
Weekend Specials
On Saturday night, the Nanooks will celebrate the season of giving with a special teddy bear toss. We welcome fans to bring new or slightly used stuffed animals to throw out on the ice. We will also be hosting a coloring with Santa prior to Saturday's game. Come out and color some of your favorite Nanooks photos and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.

Scouting the Opponent – Michigan Tech
Michigan Tech is currently on a four-game winning streak. After being swept by the Nanooks, the Huskies split with Bowling Green, lost one to North Dakota and then was swept by Minnesota State. Following the sweep, MTU swept Lake Superior State and then Northern Michigan.
Alec Broetzman and Parker Saretsky are the current point's leaders for Michigan Tech, as they both have nine points. Broetzman has five goals and four assists while Saretsky has scored three goals and assisted on six others.
