On the Board, Burrett

- The defenseman, a freshman from Surrey, B.C., fired a shot past Mikhail Yegorov to tie the game at 1-1 6:25 into the first period.

- Shea made 41 saves in the overtime loss on opening day - that is the first 40-save game from an Alaska netminder since Calvin Vachon's 43-save performance last season at Providence on Jan. 3, 2026 (W, 5-1).

- Parayko appeared in 104 games at Alaska, recording 66 points on 17 goals and 49 assists while posting a career-best +16 rating. He served as an assistant captain in 2013-14 before being named captain as a senior in 2014-15.
