FAIRBANKS - The Nanooks hockey program welcomes all fans to the Patty Ice Arena tomorrow night for their annual Blue/Gold scrimmage. This will be fans first look at the 2025-26 squad.

New Look 'Nooks
This season will not only feature five new home uniforms for the Alaska Nanooks hockey program, but will also feature 16 newcomers on the roster this season. The Nanooks will don new uniforms at home representing the 1930's, 1950's, 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. 

Tickets
Fans are able to get in with purchasing tickets at the door. Adults are $10, kids are $5, and families are in for $25. 

100 Years of Nanooks Hockey Documentary Screening
To celebrate 100 years of Nanooks Hockey, the Department of Athletics invites fans, students, alumni, and the Fairbanks community to a special public viewing of the feature documentary In the Trenches: 100 Years of Alaska Hockey, tomorrow, inside the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium at the Patty Center.

This free event will highlight the storied legacy of Alaska's flagship college hockey program with an exclusive showing of the full-length documentary. Doors open at 4 p.m., with fans encouraged to arrive early for a preview of the team's brand-new throwback jerseys, a meet-and-greet with members of the 2025-26 Nanooks hockey team, and a poster signing session beginning at 4:15 p.m.

The official documentary screening will begin at 5 p.m. inside the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium, followed by a Q&A with members of the Nanooks coaching staff at 6 p.m.

Blue/Gold Outlook
Puck drops at 7 p.m. tomorrow with doors opening after the 100 Years of Nanooks Hockey Documentary screening. The two sides will square off in a 25-minute running clock period before jumping into the fastest skater, hardest shot, skills relay race, and goalie shootout. Following the mini games, there will be a second period played.
