80's Night
Tonight's game against Alaska Anchorage is 80's Night! You'll hear nothing but the greatest hits from the 1980's, there will be Alaska Nanooks 80's facts and more! The Nanooks will be wearing their new white sweaters as a nod to the early days of going D1.

Last Time Out
Alaska is back home after nearly a month away. After their split with Augustana, the Nanooks traveled to Grand Rapids, Mich. for the 2023 Great Lakes Invitational. There they fell to Michigan Tech in a heartbreaking 3-2 OT loss that sent the 'Nooks to the GLI Third-Place game against Ferris State. The Nanooks took care of the Bulldogs 3-2 with Cade Neilson capping the game off with a game-winner midway through the third.

After the GLI, the Nanooks stayed on the road and went to Grand Forks, ND for a matchup with the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota. UND's offense proved to be too much for the Nanooks as they swept Alaska 6-4 and 6-2 in the Ralph.

Team Leaders
Brady Risk continues to climb the top of the list for the Nanooks through 20 games. The junior forward leads Alaska with 24 points on 10 goals and 14 assists. His 14 assists ties him with Arvils Bergmanis for a team-high and his 10 goals is second to only Harrison Israels, who leads the team with 12 goals. Anton Rubtsov has continued to tally the points for the 'Nooks; through 18 games, the fellow junior forward has 19 points on six goals and 13 helpers.

Six other Nanooks are into double-digit points as Israels follows with 17 on a dozen goals and five helpers. Bergmanis has 15 points to lead the blue-liners, scoring one goal and helping on 14. T.J. Lloyd follows with 13 on two goals and 11 assists, Payton Matsui now has 11 points on four goals and seven assists, Caleb MacDonald is the leading scorer for rookies with 10 on four goals and six assists and Cade Neilson now has three goals and seven assists for 10 points. Pierce Charleson remains the staple in net for the Nanooks as the transfer has seen time in all 20 games, being the goalie of record in all but one. He is 10-8-1 on the year with a .901 save percentage and a GAA of 2.56. Lassi Lehti made his second appearance of the season at NoDak this past weekend, seeing time for the first time since the regular-season opener against Denver at home on Oct. 7, 2023.
