FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks hockey team and the Face-Off Club have announced details for their 2021 Battle of the Boards Cornhole Tournament.

The double-elimination tournament will take place on August 21, 2021 at Growden Memorial Park from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The first-place winning team will walk away with the $500 grand prize while the second-place team will take home $250. Prior to August 10, two-person teams can sign up for an entry fee of $50. Following August 11, all entry fees for two-person teams will be $60. 

Head coach Erik Largen is excited to be back in the community, "I'm looking forward to enjoying the great Nanook hockey community and kick-starting the 2021-22 campaign."

All proceeds will benefit the Alaska Nanook hockey team. All in attendance will have a chance to win door prizes that will be drawn every hour.
