Last Time Out
The Nanooks are coming off a two-game road trip last week, during which they faced Northwest Nazarene and No. 9 Central Washington. They dropped both games, falling 84-45 to the Nighthawks on Thursday, Jan. 29, and 92-40 to the Wildcats on Saturday, Jan. 31.

Jazlynn Novelli scored Alaska's first four points of the game vs. NNU on a pair of baskets, but the Nighthawks scored the next five points unanswered to go up 12-4. The 'Nooks ended the first down 19-10, and were outscored in the second 24-14, entering the locker room down 43-24. From there, they could not get themselves back into the game. Tamai Mancuso led the Nanooks with 25 points during the contest, going 9-17 from the field.

The Nanooks let up 11 unanswered points to begin the game vs. the Wildcats, with Emily Freeman giving them their first points of the evening on a three at the 5:43 mark of the first. Novelli added a three, but that was all the scoring the Nanooks managed in the first, and they ended the quarter down 24-6. Alaska would not get within 10 points of CWU for the remainder of the contest. Mancuso was Alaska's leading scorer once more, posting 14 points while adding two steals and an assist.
