PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 women's basketball Academic All-Conference Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College, on Friday, Feb. 6, with four Nanooks selected to the team.
The Nanooks had one two-time honoree, with Anna Nevison earning a spot on the conference All-Academic team for the second consecutive year. Emily Freeman, Amelia Brady and Halle Waram joined her as first-time recipients.
Freeman, who joined the Nanooks in 2024-25, was one of just six student-athletes in the conference to record a perfect 4.00 GPA, as the senior from Ladera Ranch, Calif., maintained that mark while studying business administration. Nevison, a junior from Halifax, UK, joined her after she maintained a 3.87 GPA in interdisciplinary studies to secure her spot on the team for the second time. She posted a 3.57 GPA in 2024-25 to earn Academic All-Conference accolades.
Brady, a redshirt junior out of West Jordan, Utah, earned her spot by maintaining a 3.48 GPA while majoring in art, garnering the honor for the first time after joining the Nanooks last season. Finally, Waram, a junior out of Edmonds, Wash., posted a 3.41 GPA while studying secondary education to earn Academic All-Conference honors.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the court during the 2025-26 campaign. In total, 49 student-athletes earned a spot on the academic all-conference team.
