Nanooks Women’s Basketball Secures Signing of Addie Prisciandaro

FAIRBANKS – The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team announced its first signing of the 2026-27 season, as Addie Prisciandaro committed to joining the Nanooks next season. Prisciandaro is a 5-5 guard from Prescott, Ariz.

"We're thrilled to welcome Addie as the first member of our 2026 class," said head coach Michael Ricks. "She's a proven scorer with deep range, and her competitiveness and consistency stand out. We're excited for her future in Fairbanks."

Prisciandaro is a two-time Grand Canyon Region Offensive Player of the Year and a two-time First Team All-Region selection. She is entering her senior season as Prescott High School's all-time leading scorer (1,475 points) and single-season scoring record holder (571 points). In her junior season last year, Prisciandaro averaged 20 points per game, knocking down 83 threes over the course of the season on a 37% three-point percentage.

"After growing up in Haines, Alaska, I am very excited to be coming back to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Alaska Fairbanks," said Prisciandaro. "I am so thankful for my family, coaches, and teammates who have helped me to get here. Go Nanooks!"
