Last Time Out
Alaska returns to the ice after last Saturday's Blue/Gold scrimmage. The Blue squad came out on top 2-0 thanks to a penalty-shot goal from Brendan Ross and an empty-netter by Haden Kruse.
Skills Competition
Alongside the Blue team earning the 2-0 victory, the Nanooks held fastest skater, hardest shot and goalie breakaway competitions. Freshman Fyodor Nikolayenya won the fastest skater contest, beating Kruse in the finals, while fellow first-year player Trenton Penner won the hardest shot competition. In the final skill competition of the evening, goaltenders Nicholas Grabko and Cole Plowman tied for the top goalie in the breakaway contest.
