Coaches Quotes
"Today was a solid team performance. Overall I felt the team had to work a little harder today, so it was nice to see they could make it work even when they may have gotten off to slow starts or encountered some difficulties. Kellen had a great smallbore match and stuck with it in air. I was happy to see the group back up yesterday's performance.Â
The match was extremely close and provided quite a bit of excitement. Memphis shot phenomenal and even bested their long standing program record. Huge congrats to them. Our team managed to stay focused on their own performance through the excitement and eventually prevailed. I couldn't be more proud of their effort over the two matches in Memphis.
With Ole Miss on Tuesday we will rest and do school work tomorrow. We're looking forward to shooting Ole Miss, undoubtedly one of the best teams in the NCAA this year."
