FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks rifle team had two student-athletes named to the 2025-26 CRCA All-American Teams.
Lucie Kissenberger earned Honorable Mention Aggregate and Second Team Smallbore honors while
Teagan Perkowski earned Second Team Air Rifle honors.
"We are proud to recognize the two athletes who earned All-American honors this season - Lucie [Kissenberger] and Teagan [Perkowski], who will soon take their place on our newly upgraded All-American wall alongside more than 80 Nanooks who came before them," said head coach
Randi Loudin. "Both athletes have stood not only as great shooters, but as consistent ones. They came into the season ready to work and finished strong to earn this recognition. Lucie now holds a total of five All-American honors in just two season, with Teagan joining her for the first time. It has been great to watch their growth - and even better to work alongside them."
Kissenberger led the Nanooks in all three guns this season. She finished the year with an aggregate average of 1183, smallbore average of 587.5 and air rifle average of 595.5, tying Perkowski for the air rifle team lead. She shot in 15 matches this season for the Nanooks and was a consistent piece of the lineup all year. In just the second match of the season, she posted a career-high 1190 aggregate score with a 594 smallbore score and 596 air rifle performance. In smallbore, she had five performances 590+ and in air rifle she shot over a 592 in all matches. She shot a season-high 598 in air rifle on two separate occasions, once at Army on Nov. 23, 2025 and again at the NCAA Championships in March.
Kissenberger eclipsed the 1180 mark in all but two matches this season, including her 1190. From Nov. 22 on, she shot 1185+ in six of nine matches. At the NCAA Championships at Ohio State, Kissenberger led the Nanooks with an 1186, finishing just outside of the individual top 10.
Perkowski earns his first All-American honor as a sophomore for the Nanooks. Perkowski had a career year for the Nanooks and tied Kissenberger for the team lead in air rifle with an average of 595.5. He added the second-best smallbore average at 585.188 and was second in team aggregate average, finishing the season with an average score of 1180.688. Perkowski shot in 15 matches for the Nanooks this season and set new career-highs in every gun. In smallbore, he fired a career-high 595 on Jan. 25, 2026 in Fairbanks. In air rifle, he set a new career-high with three 598 performances. His first came on the first day of the season against Ohio State. He matched it on Jan. 18, 2026 against Kentucky and Nebraska before shooting another 598 at the PRC Championships in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Finally, Perkowski set a new aggregate career-high with an 1189 on Jan. 25, 2026 against TCU and UT Martin in Fairbanks. On the year, Perkowski fired better than 593 in air rifle in all matches. He also added three 590+ performances in smallbore, including a back-to-back 592-595 on Jan. 24-25, 2026. Perkowski finished his season with an 1176 at the NCAA Championships.
The Nanooks concluded their season at the 2026 NCAA Rifle Championships, their 39th appearance in program history.
