Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team is coming off of a two-loss week at home to Northwest Nazarene and Central Washington. On Thursday, Jan. 9, the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks defeated the 'Nooks, 62-88. After staying close for the first half, the Nighthawks ran away in the second half from Alaska to grab the win.
In game two, on Saturday, Jan. 11, the Nanooks played the Central Washington Wildcats. In similar fashion to Thursday, the 'Nooks put up a halftime lead before falling in the second half. Alaska fought their way back in the game late in the fourth quarter, but their comeback fell just short, losing to CWU 65-68.
