FAIRBANKS, Alaska ā The Alaska Nanooks swim team concluded their second day at the Husky Invitational at the King County Aquatic Center with two Nanooks advancing to the finals on Saturday night.
Sophomore 
Oda Bygdnes placed second overall in the 100-yard butterfly preliminary races on Saturday morning, posting a time of 55.17. Bygdnes placed fourth overall in the finals later that night with a time of 55.55.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, redshirt-freshman 
Kaia Norbye placed 15th overall with a time of 1:05.50, advancing to the finals later that night. Norbye came back to place 13th overall with a time of 1:04.53.
The Nanooks competed in one relay on Saturday, placing third overall in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.85. Alaska's relay team included sophomore 
Erika Kakazu, Norbye, Bygdnes and freshman 
Wanlaya Jarupakorn.

The Alaska Nanooks will return to the pool for the final day of the Husky Invite tomorrow (Sunday, Dec. 2).
