FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The No. 3 Alaska Nanooks coed rifle team embarks on their first road trip of the 2018-19 season this week, taking on three ranked opponents in three different locations. The first match of the week is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 15 against the University of Texas at El Paso in El Paso, Texas, before heading to Fort Worth, Texas to take on Texas Christian University on Friday, Nov. 16. Alaska closes out the weekend with a two-day match against the University of Nevada Wolfpack on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18 in Reno, Nevada.

Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks were last in action against Jacksonville State University, sweeping the Gamecocks 46-93-4609 on Thursday, Oct. 25, 4665-4628 on Saturday, Oct. 27 and 4684-4628 on Sunday, Oct. 28. Alaska remains undefeated on the season, going 5-0 against opponents thus far.
Ranked Nooks
On Monday, the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association released their weekly rankings poll, putting the Nanooks at No. 3 with a 4693 aggregate average, only one point behind No. 2 Air Force, who has a 4694. West Virginia remains in first place with 4703.
Alaska's weekend opponents are also ranked, with UTEP (4611) sitting in 18th, TCU (4678) ranking third and Nevada (4649) tied for 15th with NC State.
