Last Time Out
The Nanooks picked up two big road wins last week, taking down Seattle Pacific 78-74 on Thursday and Montana State Billings 101-97 in overtime on Saturday.
The two sides traded runs throughout the game vs. the Falcons, but it was the Nanooks who held on in the end. After taking a six-point lead into the locker room at halftime, the Nanooks withstood an SPU push in the second half to grab the four-point victory in Seattle. All five starters finished the game in double figures. Davis Crilly led the way with 16 points, Mike Miller and Luke Fotheringham each had 15 points, Tyriq Luke had 12 points, and Tariq Weiser had 11 points.
The 'Nooks survived a back-and-forth contest vs. MSUB on Saturday, in a game which saw 16 ties and 14 lead changes, eventually holding on to claim a 101-97 victory in overtime. Tyriq Luke put the team on his back in the win, going off for 38 points, the most by a Nanook since the 2021-22 season. The guard shot 14-22 from the field and 6-11 from three, and added seven rebounds, five assists and a steal, en route to a GNAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week nod.
