ANCHORAGE - The Nanooks hockey team heads south for games five and six of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup this Friday and Saturday. Alaska leads the season series against UAA 2-1-1 and holds an 8-4 points lead.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks will play this weekend for the first time since Feb. 6-7 when they faced the Seawolves in Anchorage. Game one went to the Nanooks 4-1.
Tommy Cronin got the scoring started in game one before
Alexander Malinowski scored the game-winner.
Luke Johnson scored for UAA to cut the lead in half but
Michael Citara (PP) and
Jhett Larson (EN) put the game away. In game two, UAA earned an overtime win over the Nanooks 3-2.
Tommy Cronin, once again, got the scoring started.
Jackson Anderson added the second goal for the Nanooks, but UAA tied it in the second period before eventually winning it 55 seconds into the overtime period.

Rylen Roersma has shot up the scoring board for the Nanooks as he now has 19 points on nine goals and 10 assists.
Peyton Platter follows with 17 and a team-high 11 assists.
Chase Dafoe has eight goals and seven assists for 15 points,
Nathan Rickey leads defensemen with 12 points on three goals and nine helpers,
Jhett Larson and
Braden Birnie check in with 11 points each and
Alexander Malinowski has 10 points on five and five.
Man-Advantage Scoring
The Nanooks have capitalized on 15 power-play opportunities this season.
Michael Citara and
Chase Dafoe lead the way with three power-play goals each. Citara's 12 goals this season lead the team and are the most since last year when
Matt Hubbarde posted 13 goals in his lone-season with the Nanooks.
Wheels are Moving
Tommy Cronin has done nothing but right his last six games. All eight of his career points have come in his current six-game scoring streak, including two two-point performances against Lindenwood and LIU.

Chase Dafoe has been on a tear for the Nanooks over the last four games. The center has five points on three assists and two goals for a four-game scoring streak.
