How it Happened

Rylen Roersma and
Jackson Anderson earned the assists on the first goal. The Nanooks' lead would double on a

Misha Danylov fed Citara from behind the net for the primary while
Peyton Platter earned the secondary assist.
The 2-0 lead only lasted until 1:13 into the second when Ethan Elias scored for the Lions. Five minutes later the Nanooks had their two-goal lead back, this time on the stick of
Rylen Roersma.
Jhett Larson fired the puck near the net and
Tommy Cronin; Cronin put a shot on net but it was quickly saved. The rebound found Roersma and he found the back of the net making it 3-1 6:10 into the second period. The 3-1 lead stood until the third period when Cronin and Roersma teamed up again for an Alaska goal. Cronin had a breakaway opportunity and following the save Roersma found the back of the net on the follow-up opportunity to make it 4-1.
