FAIRBANKS – The Alaska Nanooks rifle team continues to uphold its tradition of excellence—this time in the classroom. All nine student-athletes on the 2024-25 roster have been named to the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-American Team, announced following the completion of the academic year.
Honorees include Tobias Bernhoft-Osa, Rachael Charles, Lucie Kissenberger, Sára Karasová, Teagan Perkowski, Amanda Pettersen, Cecelia Ossi, Elijah Spencer, and Matthew Stout. Each athlete earned the distinction by maintaining a year-long GPA of 3.2 or higher while remaining academically eligible and actively competing throughout the season.
"We're really proud to see our entire roster earn the CRCA Scholastic All-American Award this year," said head coach Randi Loudin. "There were definitely some tough classes along the way, but our athletes showed up for each other and found a way to stay consistent—both on the range and in the classroom. This award reflects a full year of hard work, and to not only meet the 3.2 GPA requirement but finish with a team average closer to 3.6 says a lot about their drive and commitment. We set a high bar in our program, and they continue to rise to it."
To qualify for CRCA Scholastic All-American honors, student-athletes must be eligible for competition throughout the academic year and achieve a combined GPA of 3.2 or higher across the fall and spring semesters. The entire Nanooks roster making the CRCA Scholastic All-American list showcases the program's dedication to academic and athletic excellence.
