FAIRBANKS - The Nanooks women's basketball team had five players named to the 2024-25 GNAC Academic All-Conference team presented by Barnes & Noble College.

Destiny Reimers earned her fourth GNAC all-academic honor, Jayda Van Dyke earned her second honor, and Tristian Martin, Anna Nevison, and Taylor Tiulana all earned their first academic honor. 

To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team, and have competed on the court during the 2024-25 campaign. Reimers, a senior from Anchorage, posted a 4.0 GPA and received the honor for the fourth time in her career. She was one of four student-athletes in the GNAC to receive both honors. She is a rural development major. Jayda Van Dyke earned her second honor as a business administration major. She joined the Nanooks in 2022-23 and earned her first honor in 2023-24; in three seasons with the Nanooks, Van Dyke has maintained a 3.9 GPA. Jayda Van Dyke hails from Herriman, Utah.

Tristian Martin, who is from Fairbanks, joined the Nanooks last season as a junior. Now as a senior, Martin earned all-academic honors with a 3.85 GPA while studying homeland security & emergency management. Anna Nevison, a sophomore from Portsmouth, UK, was named to the list for the first time. The guard has maintained a 3.57 GPA while studying interdisciplinary studies. The final student-athlete named to the list for the Nanooks was Taylor Tiulana. Tiulana earned the honor with a 3.29 GPA while studying business administration. Tiulana is also from Anchorage. 

A total of 55 women's basketball student-athletes earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference academic all-conference honors this season.
