FAIRBANKS - The NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Committee announced on Tuesday morning the 74 men and 74 women selected to participate in the 2025 National Collegiate Men's and Women's Skiing Championships in Hanover, N.H., on March 5-8. Five skiers from the Alaska Nanooks Nordic skiing team were among those selected. Kendall Kramer and Tabitha Williams will represent the Nanooks on the women's side, while Cole Flowers, Ben Dohlby and Philipp Moosmayer will compete for the men. The Nanooks will travel Gabriele Rigaudo as an alternate.
This season's Nordic championships will be hosted by Dartmouth College at the Oak Hill Outdoor Center. Nordic events will run on Thursday, March 6, and Saturday, March 8, with day one being a 7.5k classic individual start and day two being a 20k freestyle mass start. Nordic participants are selected on a regional basis from three designated regions (Central, East and West). Bids are awarded to regions using a formula determined by the skiing committee.
The 'Nooks are coming off a third-place Nordic finish at the RMISA Championships last week, tallying 307 points over the two days. Season highlights include Kramer's win in the 20k classic at the U.S. Nationals, Kramer and Dohlby's two individual victories in the 10k freestyle at Alaska's home invite, and Moosmayer's victory in the 20k freestyle at the RMISA Championships last weekend.
Alaska took sixth in the Nordic standings in last year's NCAA Championships, collecting 175 points.
