Raced in 12 events for the Nanooks during his junior season, six classic races and six freestyle ... Began his season with the 10k freestyle on Feb. 2 at the U.S. Nationals, where he finished 13th with a time of 22:34.1 ... Finished in 11th place in the 20k classic two days later, posting a 52:59.4 in the race ... Participated in the Montana State Invite on Jan. 24-26, beginning with a 14th-place result in the 20k freestyle with a time of 56:19.5 ... Skied to a 20th-place finish in the 7.5k classic to conclude the invite after posting a 20:49.0 ... Placed 10th in the 7.5k classic at the Denver Invitational on Feb. 8, finishing his race in 23:47.7 ... Followed that by finishing eighth in the 10k freestyle pursuit the following day, recording a 26:29.9 in the race ... Notched a 14th-place finish in the classic sprints at the UAF Invite on Feb. 16, using a qualifier time of 2:48.18 to advance to the quarterfinals, where he posted a 2:51.33 ... The next day, finished the 10k freestyle in 23:48.7 to take seventh ... Appeared in six events for the Nanooks in his freshman season … His collegiate debut occurred at the RMISA Nordic Qualifiers, where he raced in the 10k Freestyle and the Classic Sprints. He completed the 10k in eighth-place with a time of a 25:58.7 and in 32nd-place in the sprints … In his next appearance at the Denver Invitational, he raced in the 5k Freestyle, finishing in 24th-place with a time of 16:04.2 … In his last appearance of his freshman year in the Alaska Anchorage Invitational, he raced in the Freestyle Sprints finishing 29th.
