Men’s Hoops Kicks Off GNAC Play at Western Oregon and Saint Martin’s

FAIRBANKS – The Nanooks men's basketball team begins its GNAC schedule this week with a road trip to Western Oregon and Saint Martin's.

The Nanooks participated in the Sprite Tundra Tip-Off last weekend, playing two neutral-site games against the Westmont Warriors and the Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks in Anchorage. After falling to Westmont 72-66, the 'Nooks took care of business against the Lumberjacks, defeating CPH 66-57 thanks to a 24-point performance from Mike Miller.

Tyriq Luke earned All-Tournament honors for the Nanooks after averaging 15 points over the two contests, which was tied for the most on the team.
