ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Nanooks men's basketball team is back in Anchorage for two more neutral-site games this weekend, taking on the Westmont Warriors and Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks on Friday and Saturday.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks played in Anchorage two weeks ago, taking on the Chaminade Silverswords and Hawaii Pacific Sharks in the Alaska/Hawaii Challenge. Alaska fell to Chaminade in its first game, 102-86, before taking Hawaii Pacific to overtime, where the 'Nooks dropped an 86-85 decision to the Sharks.
Davis Crilly made a big impact in his first official games in Blue & Gold, averaging 18.5 points over the two games to earn All-Tournament honors.

- The Warriors have begun their season by facing four GNAC teams. They defeated Simon Fraser 83-64, but fell to Saint Martin's 96-88, Montana State Billings 80-72 and Western Oregon 68-50 to begin the season 1-3.
- They are led by senior guard Jarrett Bryant, who is posting 13.8 points per game this season on 58.3% shooting. He is second on the team in rebounding with five per game.
- This is the first meeting between the Nanooks and Warriors since 2006.
Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks (2-2, 0-0 CCAA)
Head Coach: DJ Broome (1st Season)
- The Lumberjacks dropped their first two games this season, 83-71 to Western Washington and 89-61 to Dominican. They have since won two straight, taking down Northwest Nazarene 65-64 and Jessup 85-81 in double overtime.
- They are led by senior guard Rob Jenkins with 17.3 points per game. He is their second-leading rebounder with 6.5 boards per game.
- The Nanooks dropped their one previous matchup against the Lumberjacks 84-66 on Dec. 13, 2014.

The 'Nooks begin GNAC play next week with a trip to the Pacific Northwest, taking on the Western Oregon Wolves on Thursday, Dec. 4, and the Saint Martin's Saints on Saturday, Dec. 6.
