The 'Nooks competed in the Westminster Classic last weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah, taking on the Westminster Griffins and No. 21 Colorado Mesa Mavericks. They dropped both contests by final scores of 99-74 and 102-53.
Tamai Mancuso led the way for the 'Nooks over the two games, averaging 14 points per game at the Westminster Classic. She shot 10-21 from the field and 6-13 from three while grabbing four rebounds, dishing two assists and tallying a steal.

- Tamai Mancuso is the Nanooks' leading scorer this season, averaging 17.5 points per game. That mark puts her sixth in the GNAC. She is shooting 44.4% from the field and 38.2% from three. Her 3.25 three-pointers per game rank third in the conference.
- Ashlyn Waggoner is also averaging double-digit points this season, posting an average of 10.8 per game. She is also Alaska's second leading rebounder with four per game.

- The Dragons began their season at the Central Region Showcase in St. Joseph, Mo., on Nov. 14-15. They dropped their season-opener vs. Missouri Western State, 68-59, before securing a 60-48 win over Emporia State. They picked up two more wins vs. Central Missouri (68-66 OT) and Minnesota Crookston (74-58).
- They are led by senior forward Terryn Johnson, who is averaging 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, both team highs.
- This is the first matchup between the Nanooks and Dragons.
St. Cloud State Huskies (2-3, 0-1 NSIC)
Head Coach: Lori Fish (18th Season)
- After winning their first two games of the season at the Central Region Challenge, the Huskies have dropped three straight. They defeated Washburn 73-61 and Central Oklahoma 61-59 on Nov. 14-15, but fell to #15 Northern Michigan 77-69, Michigan Tech 69-66 and #8 Minnesota State 110-81.
- They are led by junior guard Alana Zarneke, whose 17.4 points per game are the most on the team.
- The two sides have met once before, with the Huskies claiming an 82-71 win on Dec. 8, 2006.
What's Next
The 'Nooks begin their GNAC schedule next week, staying on the road for games against Western Oregon and Saint Martin's on Thursday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 6.
