FAIRBANKS - Dorka Dancsok won her second-consecutive Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference Freshman of the Week award on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
The freshman from Budapest, Hungary posted solid times in the Nanooks' two dual-meets against Cal State East Bay and maintained her number one ranking in the PCSC in four different events. On day one, Dancsok posted a split time of 1:05.45 (BR) on the 400-yard medley relay. She also added wins in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:07.65 and a win in the 100-yard breaststroke with a winning time of 1:07.10.
On day two, Dancsok split a time of 30.07 (BR) in the 200-yard medley, won the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:32.18 and won the 200-yard breaststroke with a winning time of 2:27.51. She not only still ranks number-one in the PCSC in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke and the 200 and 400-yard IM but she also holds the top-two times in all four events.
This is her second-career PCSC weekly honor.
The Nanooks are back in action on Dec. 1-3 at the Logger Invitational in Tacoma, Wash.
