FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks and Air Force Falcons rifle teams have agreed to a Dec. 6, 2023 matchup in Colorado. 

"We are pleased to be able to add a match at Air Force to close our our fall slate." said head coach Will Anti, "Air Force has consistently been one of the top teams in the country over the last five seasons. It will provide a great challenge and a good checkpoint for the team as we head into a little break over the holiday season."

This addition will now give the Nanooks six matches in the first-half of their season. They are set to take on TCU this weekend in Fort Worth, Tex. before returning home on Nov. 19 for a matchup with Akron and Kentucky. This Wednesday matchup with Air Force comes before the Winter Air Gun and Olympic Tryouts in Colorado Springs on Dec. 8-13. "We are grateful to Air Force for working with us to add this additional match and create another strong test for both teams and the final Patriot Rifle Conference matchup of 2023." added Anti.
