FAIRBANKS – Randi Loudin has officially been elevated from graduate assistant to full-time assistant coach of the Alaska Nanooks rifle team. Loudin has spent the last two seasons as a GA, spending one year under former head coach Layne Lewis in 2019-20 and the 2020-21 season under first-year coach Will Anti. 
 
Anti praises Loudin for her quick transition from the graduate assistant position to the full-time assistant, "Randi was a great graduate assistant the last two years and brings with her a unique skillset and perspective along with a great resume. The team really clicks with Randi. Now in her full-time capacity, we are able to give our athletes greater consistency and continuity in the coaching staff."
 
Loudin, a 2019 Ole Miss-grad, spent four seasons with the Rebels rifle team. She became one of the most-decorated Ole Miss shooters, shooting their first perfect prone-score of 200 on Jan. 12, 2019, as well as earning three CRCA Scholastic All-American honors. 
 
Her personal success at Ole Miss helped lead to a lot of team success during the 2020-21 campaign, "She was instrumental in our success last season and in the transition to a new head coach at the beginning of the season. She definitely looks at problems through a different and often contrasting lens to myself and that's really what you want in a counterpart…I want to thank our department; they recognized this hiring as the next step for the team to continue to improve." said Anti. 
 
Loudin also expressed her gratitude to the Alaska Nanooks athletic department, "I'm so excited and grateful to have the opportunity to be back with the Nanooks this year. The last two years have been a great experience learning the ropes of coaching and getting to know a unique place like Alaska. I look forward to another great season with the rifle team and getting to know our new athletes, roll 'Nooks!"
