Head coach
Layne Lewis had nothing but good things to say about the Nanooks performance today, "Today's match at TVSA went great. It is always fun to go out and compete at TVSA, they are great hosts and the community engagement there is awesome. We improved our scores from yesterday and still learned quite a bit that we can build into our training for the next couple of weeks before our next match. It was good to see the improvement in both guns at TVSA as it is our first away match and not at a normal collegiate setting."
Jessica Boyce led the way in air rifle with a 596. Alaska took position 1-5 in air rifle with nobody shooting under 580.
Alaska moves to 2-0 on the season and will be back in action in two weeks on Oct. 11 against the Ohio State University.
