After placing eighth at the 2019 NCAA Rifle National Championships under the fourth-year head coach, Alaska will continue to rebuild off their returning roster and newcomers.

Kicking-off the 2019-20 season, Alaska will host the University of Texas at El Paso Miners in a pair of Patriot Rifle Conference matches the weekend of Sept. 28-29. The Nooks will host UTEP at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range on the UAF campus on Saturday, Sept. 28 before taking on the Miners once again on Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Tanana Valley Sportsman's Association.

The Nooks will return to competition on Friday, Oct. 11, hosting another PRC foe in Ohio State at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range. Alaska will face a tough test on Sunday, Oct. 13, taking on reigning national champion, the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. Sunday's match will be Alaska's last home appearance for the remainder of the 2019-20 season and will also play host to Senior Day. Ohio State and TCU will face one another at TVSA on Saturday, Oct. 12.

November will feature a trip to El Paso to visit UTEP on Friday, 22 before Alaska heads to Colorado Springs, Colorado to take on the U.S. Air Force Academy on Sunday, Nov. 24.

Following the holiday break, Alaska will face a busy January schedule that includes back-to-back matches against Ohio State on Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12 in Columbus, Ohio. The Nooks will then travel to Annville, Pennsylvania to take part in the Palmyra Invitational on Sunday, January 19.

Alaska will head to Fort Worth, Texas for three-straight days of competition at the beginning of February, taking on Air Force in a dual-match on Friday, Feb. 7, hosted by TCU. The Nanooks will then compete at the PRC Championships at the TCU Rifle Range on Saturday, Feb. 8 and Sunday, Feb. 9.

The Nooks will visit El Paso once again, as the UTEP Miners host the NCAA Qualifiers on Saturday, Feb. 22.

If the Nooks fare well enough, Alaska will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to shoot in the NCAA Rifle National Championships Mar. 13-14, hosted by the University of Kentucky.
