FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks hockey team will be hosting four-day hockey camp open to hockey players aged 4-12 next week. The inaugural Alaska Hockey Edgeboss Pro Camp will take place August 12-15 at the Patty Ice Arena on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

The Alaska Hockey Edgeboss Pro Camp will help players develop their skills and basic hockey fundamentals with current Alaska Nanook players, their coaching staff and alumni. The four-day camp will feature two hours of on-ice and two hours of off-ice training daily and will have a strict focus on skating, puck-handling, goal scoring, passing and building confidence on the ice.
The camp will feature the new Edgeboss apparatuses that are designed to improve puck control in a game-like setting. The camp will feature the same techniques that the Alaska Nanooks hockey team uses, as well as professional hockey teams, on a daily basis.

The Alaska Hockey Edgeboss Pro Camp will be separated into four individual camps categorized by age, including U6, U8, U10 and U12 groups. Cost for the camp is set for $350 per player in the U8, U10 and U12 groups, while the U6 group is free.

All registration for the camp must be done through the camp website prior to the first day of camp. Payment must be done online through the camp website or campers may bring a cashier's check to the first day. Cash, personal checks and credit or debit cards will not be accepted on the first day of camp.

12:00pm- 1:00pm: Lunch / Hockey talk with players

12U:
9:15am-10:00am: Off Ice warmup
10:30am-11:30am: On ice 1
