Fairbanks, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks Men's Basketball Team will be on the road this weekend in Utah at Behnken Field House to face off against The Westminster College Griffins on Friday, Nov. 22 and the Dixie State University Trailblazers on Saturday, Nov. 23. Tip-off against Westminster is set for 5:30 p.m. AKST and 3:30 p.m. AKST against Dixie State.

If fans aren't able to make this week's games in Salt Lake City, all home and conference contests for the remainder of the season will be broadcast live through the Alaska Nanooks Stretch Internet Portal in the link posted above. Please be advised that when on the road, the broadcast is produced by the home school and not the Alaska Nanooks Department of Athletics.
Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team is coming off of a two-loss road trip in Monterey, Calif. following losses to Cal State, Monterey Bay, 67-96 and Cal State, San Marcos, 75-88.
All-Time Series
This will be the Nanooks first ever meeting with Westminster in men's basketball.
The Dixie State Trailblazers lead the all-time series against Alaska 0-1. The first and only meeting of the two teams resulted in a 71-58 loss for the 'Nooks on Nov. 27 2015.
Scouting the Opponent – Westminster
The Griffins are currently undefeated at 4-0, with their last win coming against the University of Providence (Mont.) 73-70 on Nov 16. They are averaging 79 points per game with their leading scorer, Brandon Warr, averaging 17.3 points per game.
Scouting the Opponent – Dixie State
The Trailblazers are currently undefeated at 3-0, defeating Saint Martin's University 75-71 in their last game on Nov 16. They are averaging 82 points per game with their leading scorer, Hunter Schofield, averaging 20 points per game.
