SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team suffered a pair of losses on Friday, as the team opened up the Division II West Region Volleyball Showcase at the Conlan Center on the Dominican University of California campus. Alaska fell 3-0 to Cal State Monterey Bay before dropping a 3-1 decision to Dominican later in the evening.
Coach's Comments
"Today was a rollercoaster of play. Far too many ups and downs in every area. It felt as though we would correct something defensively and then we would start making hitting errors. We'd make a correction there and then we would make a string of service errors. Today, we simply could not put the whole package together." – head coach
Brian Scott.
