FAIRBANKS, Alaska – In collaboration with Mt. McKinley Bank, the Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team will be hosting a meet and greet on Friday, Nov. 2. The event will be held from 4-6pm AKT at the downtown Mt. McKinley Bank location at 500 4th Ave.

Friday's meet and greet will is free and open to the public.

The entire 2018-19 women's basketball team will be in attendance, as well as first-year head coach Kerri Nakamoto and second-year assistant coach Jessie Craig. Other members from the Alaska Nanooks athletics department will also be making appearances.

There will be autograph signings, giveaways and free food and beverages.

The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team unofficially kicks-off the 2018-19 season next Tuesday, Nov. 6, as they take on NCAA Division I program, the University of Oregon at the Alaska Airlines Court at the Patty Center. The game is expected to sell out, tickets are on sale now.
