Western Michigan (NCHC)
Hambley joins the 'Nooks after spending year one with the Western Michigan Broncos. He did not appear in a game for the Broncos in 2022-23.

Steinbach Pistons (MJHL)
Before joining WMU, he played one year in the MJHL, playing for the Steinbach Pistons. There he played in 32 games, posting an incredible record of 28-2-1. He added a 1.96 GAA and .929 save percentage with six shutouts. In the postseason, he played in 11 games, going 6-4-0 with two shutouts, a 2.54 GAA and .915 save percentage. In 2021-22 he was the recipient of the best GAA and save percentage in the MJHL while also being named an MJHL Second Team All-Star selection.
