Biography

2010-11: Served his senior season as an Assistant Captain for the Nanooks; played in all 38 games; finished his senior year with 2 points and 4 assists; named the CCHA Scholar Athlete of the Year; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department; Dr. Wood Scholar-Athlete recipient for the hockey team; named to the Lowe's All-Senior All-American Second Team; named the Dirk Anderson Scholar Athlete for the team; recognized as the Rick Pitta Most Dedicated Player for the team; received the Don Jamieson Unsung Hero Award for the team; signed with the Alaska Aces at the conclusion of his collegiate career.

2009-10: Played in all 38 games; earned first assist of the season on Oct. 10 against Mercyhurst; scored first college goal at LSSU on Nov. 21; had 9 games with at least one point.

2008-09: Played in all 39 games for the Nanooks; was the Dean Fedorchuk Most Improved Player; led the team in plus/minus (8); assist in the Michigan game on Nov. 7.

2007-08: Saw time on the ice in 25 of the team's games in his first season with the Nanooks; named to Dean's list.

Prior to Alaska: Played one season for the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League; in 60 regular season games, he had two goals and 13 assists for 15 points with 89 penalty minutes and earned Penticton's Best Conditioned Athlete Award; played the 2005-2006 season for the Bozeman Ice Dogs in the North American Hockey League, totaling one goal and seven assists for eight points with 50 penalty minutes in 57 regular-season games and 12 more in the playoffs; prior to his junior hockey career, Molle played high school hockey for the 2005 Alaska State 4A Hockey Cham pion South Anchorage High School team, and was named to both the State All-Tournament and Good Sport teams as well as to the All-State Hockey third-team; won the state championship with his midget AAA Alaska North Stars team.

Personal: Son of Tim and Bobbie Jean Molle; father, Tim, played hockey for UAA from 1982-84; older brother Dustin played for the Nanooks from 2006-2010; sister Candace is a sophomore defenseman for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux women's hockey team; currently majoring in Civil Engineering.
