MIDWAY, Utah - The Nanooks Nordic skiing team is set for one final weekend of the 2026 season, as they head back to Soldier Hollow Nordic Center for the NCAA Championships. The Nordic races will take place on Thursday, March 12, and Saturday, March 14, with day one being a 7.5k classic interval start and day two being a 20k freestyle mass start.

The Nanooks finished fourth in the Nordic standings at the RMISA Championships, totaling 245 points. Rosie Fordham notched a podium in both races, finishing the 7.5k classic in 24:02.6 to take third, and adding a second-place finish in the 20k freestyle the next day, crossing the line in 52:36.7, which put her just 0.4 seconds from claiming the victory.
The women's team ended the championships with 126 points, putting them fourth in the Nordic standings, while the men secured fifth place with 119 points.

- The Nanooks qualified a full three skiers on the men's side and two on the women's side. Ben Dohlby is set to participate in his third NCAA championships, and Philipp Moosmayer will join him for the second time in his career. Blake Hanley will round out the men's team, making his NCAA Championships debut. Rosie Fordham will compete in the NCAA Championships for the fourth time, having appeared each year she has raced for the Nanooks. Meanwhile, Viktorie Kahounova is set to ski at the championships in her first season with the 'Nooks.
- Fordham has notched four podium finishes this season, taking third in the RMISA Invitational 10k classic and RMISA Championships 7.5k classic, and adding two second-place results in the RMISA Nordic Qualifier 20k freestyle and RMISA Championships 20k freestyle.
- Ben Dohlby has three fourth-place finishes this season, two of which came at the Utah Invitational. He placed fourth in the 7.5k freestyle and 15k classic during the weekend. He also placed fourth in the 20k freestyle at the RMISA Nordic qualifiers.
- Philipp Moosmayer also had two fourth-place finishes at the Colorado Invitational, finishing just outside the podium positions in the 20k freestyle and 7.5k classic.
- The Nanooks ended the season sixth in the RMISA's Nordic standings, totaling 846 points. The women finished with 312 points, good for sixth, while the men earned 534 points, tying for fourth.
- The Nanooks ended the 2025 NCAA Championships fifth in the Nordic standings with 176 points, with the men and women both ranking sixth with 92 and 84 points, respectively. The championships were highlighted by Kendall Kramer's win in the 20k freestyle, along with Ben Dohlby and Philipp Moosmayer's All-American honors.
All-RMISA
The Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association released its 2026 All-RMISA teams, with three Nanooks earning All-RMISA honors. Philipp Moosmayer and Ben Dohlby took home Honorable Mentions, while Rosie Fordham secured a spot on the All-RMISA First Team.
