Raced in seven events for the Nanooks during his freshman season, three classic races and four freestyle ... Began his season on Jan. 2 at the U.S. Nationals, where he notched a 37th-place result in the 10k freestyle after finishing in 24:23.9 ... Took 31st in the 20k freestyle at the Montana State Invitaitonal on Jan. 24, posting a time of 1:02:21.2 in the race ... Added a 30th-place finish in the 7.5k classic two days later, skiing to a time of 22:08.9 ... Placaed 28th in the classic sprints at the UAF Invite on Feb. 16, posting a qualifier time of 2:59.50 ... The next day, completed the 10k freestyle in 24:59.6 to earn a 21st-place result ... Added two more top-20 finishes at the RMISA Championships on Feb. 21-22, starting the conference championships by taking 20th in the 7.5k classic with a time of 21:28.2 ...
