PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its selections for the 2025-26 men's basketball Academic All-Conference Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College, on Wednesday, Feb. 11. The Nanooks had two players garner GNAC All-Academic honors, with both Jackson Krug and Jeremiah Hersrud earning the honor for the first time.

Krug, a senior from Kodiak, Alaska, who joined the Nanooks last season from Lassen Community College, earned his spot after maintaining a 3.65 GPA while studying psychology. He was joined by teammate and fellow Alaskan Hersrud, who came to Fairbanks from Bellevue College. The senior from Shishmaref, Alaska, secured the accolade after posting a 3.65 GPA while majoring in business administration.

To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the court during the 2025-26 campaign. In total, 35 players earned men's basketball Academic All-Conference.
