FAIRBANKS - The 2025 Denali State Bank Ice Block Classic has arrived. Over the next three days, there will nine matches played in the Alaska Airlines Gymnasium at the Patty Center. The Nanooks will be joined by Alaska Anchorage, Cal State San Bernardino, Rockhurst, and Rollins.

GNAC Network
The GNAC Network, available at www.gnacnetwork.com, will serve as a centralized hub where access to live video streams for all 10 of the conference's members will be available for the sports of women's and men's soccer, volleyball, women's and men's basketball, baseball, and softball. All GNAC live streams will be available on a pay-per-view basis for the first 48 hours following each contest. After that window, on-demand access to the event will be available to fans free of charge. Additionally, day passes for the sports of baseball and softball will go on sale 12 hours prior to the scheduled start time, ensuring fair access while helping schools manage streaming demand and access to the games effectively.

Last Time Out
The Nanooks swept the competition at the Seawolf Invitational last weekend. Alaska went 3-0 behind two sweeps over Cal State San Marcos and Minot State, and a thrilling five-set win over Biola. A pair of Nanooks were named to the All-Tournament Team after last weekend's invitational. Haylee Lyons and Tessa Onaga earned spots for Alaska after leading teh charge on offense and defense. In the three matches, Lyons posted 37 kills (3.36/set) with a .220 swing percentage, 22 digs (2.00/set), five blocks, three aces, and three assists. Onaga led the Nanooks with 50 digs (4.55/set) and added 11 assists and eight aces.

• As a team, the Nanooks are in the top-five in the nation in six categories. They are fourth in team assists (296), fourth in team kills (319), third in team digs (452), third in total attacks (952), third in total team blocks (56.5), and second in service aces (51). 
• Tessa Onaga leads the Nanooks with 120 digs. This does not only lead the 'Nooks and GNAC, but the nation. Onaga is averaging 4.44 digs per set, good for third in the GNAC. 
• She is also 11th in the nation in service aces with 12. That total leads the GNAC through seven matches. 
• Peri Hoshock is fifth in the nation in total blocks with 29. That total also puts her third in the conference. Presley Engelauf follows behind with 24, good for sixth in the GNAC and 13th in NCAA DII.
• Ainsley Smith and Cynphany Henderson lead the way in assists this season. Smith is first in the GNAC with 133 assists while Henderson is fourth with 117. Smith is 38th in the nation with her total while Henderson is just outside of the top-50 at 57th. 
• Elena Guc is one of the most feared attackers in the nation. She is sixth in NCAA DII with 78 kills. She is also seventh in total attacks with 217.
• The 6-1 start is the best seven-game start under head coach Brian Scott.
