FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks men's and women's cross country teams have released their 2025 competition schedule, featuring one home meet in Fairbanks and a challenging slate that stretches from Anchorage to Illinois before culminating in the GNAC and NCAA Championships.
The Nanooks open the season on Sept. 6 at the Seawolf Throwdown in Anchorage before returning home for the annual Blue & Gold Meet on Sept. 13 on the UAF Competition Ski Trails. Following their lone home event, Alaska travels to Washington for the Bill Roe Classic on Sept. 27 and heads to Illinois for the Lewis Crossover on Oct. 11.
Championship season begins with the GNAC Championships on Oct. 25 in Billings, Mont., followed by the NCAA West Regional Championships on Nov. 8 in Monmouth, Ore. Qualifying teams and individuals will advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships on Nov. 22 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Both the men's and women's teams will compete at each meet as they build toward the postseason.
