FAIRBANKS – The Alaska Nanooks hockey program will celebrate under the summer sun with Hockey Night at the Goldpanners on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. AKST as the Goldpanners take the field with a hockey twist in the Golden Heart City.

The Alaska Nanooks hockey program, the Nanooks Face-Off Club, and the Nanooks Hockey Alumni Association will all be in attendance for Wednesday's game. Fans can connect with representatives from several other local hockey organizations who will be tabling throughout the ballpark, offering giveaways, information, and a celebration of the game's year-round presence in the 49th state.

Nanooks head coach Erik Largen will throw out the ceremonial first pitch as part of the evening's festivities.

"This is a great community event and we're looking forward to an evening of fun and connection with Nanook fans and Fairbanks families," said Largen. "The weather looks fantastic, and it's the perfect setting to celebrate the strong ties between our hockey community and the Goldpanners. We truly value our partnership with the Goldpanners and all the local hockey organizations who help make Fairbanks such a special place for the sport."
