FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks Department of Athletics will host an NCAA Tournament Watch Party on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. AKST at Lat65 Brewing Co. in Fairbanks. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to this free event, secure a seat, and enjoy great food and beverages while cheering on the Nanooks volleyball team.

Alaska will take on in-state rival Alaska Anchorage in the opening round of the NCAA Division II West Regional. This marks a historic moment for the program, as the Nanooks make their first-ever appearance in the national tournament. They come into Thursday's match ranked 16th nationally, as well as the No-5 seed in the region while UAA is the No. 4 seed.
