#NookNotes
  • The Nanooks continue to be near the top of the GNAC in all team categories. They currently rank second in team blocks (233.5), team attacks (3705), team kills (1297), team digs (1695), team assists (1209), digs per set (16.95), and match W-L pct. (.808).
  • Alaska leads the GNAC in opponent hitting percentage, keeping their opponents to a .133 swing percentage. This ranks 13th in the country.
  • Cynphany Henderson's one triple-double leads the GNAC and is tied for 19th in the NCAA DII.
  • Tessa Onaga leads the conference in total digs with 453. That total is 65th in the country and is also the seventh-most in a single season in Nanooks' volleyball program history.
  • Peri Hoshock's 113 total blocks enters this week No. 9 in Nanooks' program history for a single-season total. Her 1.19 blocks per set is tied for fourth as well. Both of those totals put her fourth in the GNAC.
  • Alaska is 9-1 on its home court this season. They are 6-3 on the road and 6-1 at neutral sites. The 21-5 record puts them one win away from setting a new program record for wins in a season. They have recorded two 21-win seasons in program history (1996, 2024).
