MIDWAY, Utah - The Nanooks Nordic skiing teams concluded the Utah Invite this morning with a 15k freestyle mass start. The 'Nooks would finish the day with 103 points to give them 217.5 on the weekend, putting them fifth in the Nordic standings for the invitational.

Kendall Kramer earned a podium spot for the second time this weekend, crossing the finish line in second place in the women's race with a time of 39:49.2. She finished 27.7 seconds in front of the third-place finisher and earned the team 37 points. Tabitha Williams was the other finisher for the 'Nooks women's team, skiing to a time of 41:59.4 to finish 14th in the 15k race. They ended the day with 55 points, tying for fifth place in the race.

Aidan Hay led the way for the men, taking 17th and finishing in 36:06.8. Ben Dohlby followed behind him in 18th after posting a 36:10.3. Josh Baurick crossed the line in 30th, completing his race in 40:19.3. The men notched 48 points on the day to put them sixth in the 15k standings.

The women earned 118 points over the weekend, while the men tallied 99.5, putting them fourth and fifth, respectively.

The Nanooks are back next week in the Montana State Invite on Friday, Jan. 24 - Sunday, Jan. 26. They will compete in the freestyle mass start 20k on day one, the freestyle sprint on day two and the classic individual 7.5k on day three.
